My research aims to unravel the underlying neural networks that contribute to fear and anxiety behaviours and their effects on chronic pain. Current projects in my group include i) using rodent models to investigate how cerebellar-midbrain regions interact to co-ordinate fear extinction behaviours and how this predicts susceptibility to chronic pain ii) investigating the role of the cerebellar endocannabinoid system in fear, anxiety and pain behaviours.
