Sasha was responsible for designing, building, and commissioning an instrument for Palomar Observatory dedicated to this task.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since late 2015, Sasha has been leading a large, international collaboration as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stsci.edu\/jwst\/science-execution\/approved-programs\/dd-ers\/program-1386\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">JWST Early Release Science Program<\/a>, pushing the frontiers of direct imaging using the ambitious James Webb Space Telescope.
