At Exeter we care for plant research in all facets. We investigate how plants interact with other organisms and with their environment, from climate stress to nutrient uptake to disease. Our work covers plant genomes and epigenomes, plant cells and organs, plant physiology and metabolism.  We study plants macroscopically and microscopically, using mathematics, data science, chemistry and physics to investigate crops, model and non-model species. We house cutting-edge growth, sequencing, imaging and chemistry facilities.
