The Science, Culture and the Law research group<\/a> (SCuLE) at Exeter Law is a multidisciplinary research group<\/a> providing leading contributions to discourse on matters of policy, governance, regulation and culture in intellectual property law<\/a>, medical law<\/a>, environmental law<\/a>, cultural heritage<\/a> and culture and society<\/a>. We undertake internationally leading, innovative and engaged research<\/a>, with a view to its ultimate impact on society<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We employ interdisciplinary, empirical, and traditional legal research methods in our investigations of these areas and their impact on the well-being of society, the consequences of such processes for individuals and communities and the regulation and legal implications of innovation.<\/p>\n

Our outlook is collaborative, and we welcome colleagues from around the world who would like to become involved in our work.<\/p>\n
