This event brought together papers by 15 authors, on a range of contemporary patent law issues over two days of engaging discussion.<\/p>\n<p>These 15 authors comprised patent law scholars at all academic career stages, from a range of institutions in the UK, Ireland and Canada, namely (in order of presentation): Karen Walsh, University of Exeter; Olga Gurgula, Brunel Law School; Liam Sunner, Queens University Belfast; Marc Mimler, City University of London; Louise Hatherall, University of Bristol; Cliona Kelly, University College Dublin; Rachel Claire Brady, University College Dublin; Duncan Matthews, Queen Mary University of London; Wissam Aoun, University of Windsor, Canada; Alison Slade, University of Leicester; Naomi Hawkins, University of Sheffield; Opeyemi Kolawole, University College Dublin; Dwi Martini, University of Sheffield; Bronwen Jones, Newcastle University; and Aisling McMahon, Maynooth University.<\/p>\n<p>The event also hosted a dedicated panel of papers to launch the recently published Patent Scholars Network Special Issue of the European Intellectual Property Review on \u2018Patents in a Changing Europe\u2019.
