{"id":3,"date":"2022-05-13T15:59:33","date_gmt":"2022-05-13T15:59:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.exeter.ac.uk\/seacure\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2024-08-07T10:10:52","modified_gmt":"2024-08-07T10:10:52","slug":"sample-page","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.exeter.ac.uk\/seacure\/","title":{"rendered":"SeaCURE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accelerating the ocean\u2019s natural removal of atmospheric carbon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>SeaCURE has developed and demonstrated the components of a marine-based Negative Emissions Technology (NET), with the potential to be applied at very large scales. The system makes use of the natural behaviour of the carbon cycle, i.e. the \u2018sucking\u2019 of CO<sub>2<\/sub> out of the atmosphere in response to the atmosphere-ocean difference in CO<sub>2<\/sub> concentration generated by rising atmospheric CO<sub>2<\/sub> concentrations.
