In October we were delighted to invite all of our Masters students to attend a special book launch of Completing Assignments in TESOL and Applied Linguistics, edited by our MEd Programme Lead and departmental Education lead, Nicky Bremner.
Nicky and his co-editor Sedigh Mohammadi poured their passion and expertise into creating a book specifically designed to guide students through the full process of assignments – from how to analyse assessment briefs, through to researching, planning, composing and editing all sorts of assessment tasks. Other members of staff have contributed chapters and examples of assessment materials. It was lovely to be able to celebrate the publication with some drinks and snacks and some entertaining stories from the editors and contributors!
