“We had an absolutely fantastic night. The professors of our program hosted a “bring a dish” event, where each of us, as fellow students, could bring a dish from our own culture. It was truly an awesome opportunity to share my culture and learn about others. We chatted, laughed, and wove warmth and joy into the golden light. Although we, as international students, come from different regions of the world and there are so many of us in the program, this event made everyone feel included. We might have different traditions in our own cultures, but through one universal element of every culture\u2014food\u2014we all felt a sense of belonging here in Exeter.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
