In 2019, she was named Ad Astra Distinguished Fellow in Robotic and Outer Space Governance by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isi.edu\/centers-serc\/\">Space Engineering Research Center at USC<\/a>. Trained in Cambridge and Geneva, Dr Chiu had previously conducted research at Oxford, Durham, Vienna, and Trinity College Dublin.
