On Wednesday 5th June, the University of Exeter Sport held its annual Student Sport Dinner on Streatham campus in the Great Hall. The dinner brought together all the Athletic Union clubs to recognise and celebrate individual and club successes across the the academic year.
With over 50 registered Athletic Union clubs at the University of Exeter, the evening highlighted the huge variety of sporting activities and events that have been run this year. Many of these clubs reached multiple finals, clinched championship titles, organised events, welcomed new members and enhanced their club offering for members wanting to take part at all levels.
This year the event itself returned to the Great Hall after a number of years, serving as a fitting venue to celebrate our sporting students in the heart of campus. Many thanks to the Event Exeter team for all their support in delivering a brilliant event for our students.
The evening was led by current Sports President Georgina (Gee) Burnett who also created a fantastic video montage including all our Athletic Union clubs which was used to open the evening. We thank Gee for her time and effort as the current Sports President and wish her all the best for her future endeavours.
Congratulations to all students and clubs who were nominated for awards this year. Please see below for a list of our winners from the evening! #BleedGreen
