Completion of Technical Services Review

The Technical Services Review brought all technicians together into a single professional home. The video highlights the challenges, positive changes introduced for technicians and academics, and the importance of making sure Technical Services supports our academics in their endeavours. It features Director of College Services and CLES Registrar Linda Peka; Special Services Technician David Gregory, and Strategic Dean for Cornwall Professor David Hosken.

Read the ‘Career Development Framework’ success story on the Challenge, Transform, Succeed webpage which explains the new career development framework and the benefits this brings to technical services staff.

Please see the TS conference website for the latest information and agenda on the forthcoming event.

Design a logo competition

As I am sure you are aware after such a successful Technical services conference last year, we thought it would be great to build on this success and host another conference this year.

To make this event really special the 2016 organising committee agreed we should have a unique identity for what is now becoming an annual event in the Technical services calendar.

This is where you come in. We know that there is a wealth of creative talent in the technical services team so we would like you to get drawing and design our conference logo.

Design Logo competition

Not only will the creator of the winning design be able to see their logo on all conference literature but they will also be presented with an award at the conference.

So get drawing and make the Technical services conference stand out from the crowd!!
