In a statement by Professor Sir Keith Burnett CBE FRS, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sheffield and President of the Science Council said:

I can now announce that a team working at the National Centre for Professional Technicians here in Sheffield is producing a definitive toolkit, which will address these issues for the employer and the technical community. This work, funded by HEFCE, will make a massive contribution to our understanding of the roles and contribution the Professional Technicians make in the Higher Education sector.ā

The TDM toolkit will be launched inĀ August 2017. The toolkit covers all aspects related to technicians in the Higher Education sector.
