TechNet launched online
The Technicians Network (TechNet) has now been launched online at https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/technet/home (link updated 2019)
- Have you ever not known how to fix an instrument or tackle a problem?
- Have you ever thought āI want to progress my career but really donāt know how you would go about it?
If you answer yes to either or both of these questions then the TechNet Forum is for you!
Technical Services has a wide range of highly skilled, knowledgeable technical staff with huge amounts of experience, but we are dispersed amongst a variety of buildings and campus.
The aim of the TechNet forum is to bring together the whole technical community, breaking down the boundaries and building a supportive and knowledgeable community to enable us all to do our jobs better and develop our own careers and aspirations.
TechNet is not just for the University of Exeter, it has been created to help technical staff at all Universities to network.Ā It is also closely tied to the IST and many staff in the forum would be happy to share their knowledge and experience with you.
