This week the installation began on both sites simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p>Once installation is complete and training is completed this week, Prof Ken Evans will officially open the SEM in the Imaging Suite on Streatham campus and Dr Gail Reeves, head of Technical Services will open the SEM at Penryn. These machines will be open to research groups, students and the campuses as a whole with the hope that it will also generate external interest and income to support the machine in the future.
