It features Director of College Services and CLES Registrar Linda Peka; Special Services Technician David Gregory, and Strategic Dean for Cornwall Professor David Hosken.<\/p>\n<p>Read the \u2018Career Development Framework\u2019 success story on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.exeter.ac.uk\/transformation\/succeed\">Challenge, Transform, Succeed webpage<\/a> which explains the new career development framework and the benefits this brings to technical services staff.<\/p>\n<h2>University of Exeter working in partnership with the University of Sheffield TDM centre to tackle decline of technicians<\/h2>\n<p>The University of Exeter will be working in partnership with the University of Sheffield to help develop this project.\u00a0 An <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeshighereducation.com\/news\/sheffield-centre-tackle-decline-university-technicians\">article <\/a>has been published in the Time Higher website discussing the HEFCE funded Technical Development and Modernisation (TDM) project at the University of Sheffield.<\/p>\n<p>There is more information on the project on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.exeter.ac.uk\/departments\/technicalservices\/staffdevelopment\/technicaldevelopmentandmodernisation\/\">our webpages<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Technical Services Conference 2016<\/h2>\n<p>Please see the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.exeter.ac.uk\/departments\/technicalservices\/events\/technicalservicesconference2016\/\">TS conference website<\/a> for the latest information and agenda on the forthcoming event.<\/p>\n<h2>Design a logo competition<\/h2>\n<p>As I am sure you are aware after such a successful Technical services conference last year, we thought it would be great to build on this success and host another conference this year.<\/p>\n<p>To make this event really special the 2016 organising committee agreed we should have a unique identity for what is now becoming an annual event in the Technical services calendar.<\/p>\n<p>This is where you come in.
