Quite the opposite. Evidence already shows that we need people with even sharper, more sophisticated language skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">What is the point of UTILE?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1) Charting current practice of<strong> university educators and language professionals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2) Combining this with theory <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3) Producing a map that university educators can use as a reference to keep <strong>language, translation and interpretin<\/strong>g relevant in the face of change and for the next generation of AI-native learners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Fascinated..? <\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Yes. count me in.
