{"id":39,"date":"2018-07-18T12:17:59","date_gmt":"2018-07-18T11:17:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.exeter.ac.uk\/time\/?page_id=39"},"modified":"2018-07-18T12:17:59","modified_gmt":"2018-07-18T11:17:59","slug":"current-research","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.exeter.ac.uk\/time2site\/current-research\/","title":{"rendered":"Current research"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"title\">Current Research<\/h2>\n<p>The TIME project is a continuing programme of research into the clinical and theoretical aspects of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/projects.exeter.ac.uk\/time\/findings.php?cat=tea\">Transient Epileptic Amnesia (TEA)<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/projects.exeter.ac.uk\/time\/findings.php?cat=alf\">Accelerated long-term forgetting (ALF)<\/a>\u00a0and Autobiographical memory.<\/p>\n<p>Current work aims at discovering the causes of TEA, identifying precisely which brain regions and cognitive processes are disrupted by the condition, and determining the best forms of treatment.<\/p>\n<p>At present we are not collecting data, but future studies are planned. Please <a href=\"http:\/\/sites.exeter.ac.uk\/time\/contact-us\/\">contact us<\/a>\u00a0 if you would like to register your interest in participating in future research<\/p>\n<h3>TEA Day<\/h3>\n<p>On Wednesday 27th June 2018 we ran our first ever TEA Day, inviting previous research participants and family members to join us in Exeter to discuss recent research findings and future directions for research. The day was a great success and we thank everyone who was involved. Copies of presentation slides can be downloaded (see below).
