Mpologoma wetland is a papyrus swamp near Tirinyi in eastern Uganda. The site has a peat layer of three metres, and strong seasonal fluctuations of the water table level.
We are collaborating with the Department of Environmental Management at Makerere University, and with the Wetlands Management Department in the Ministry of Water and Environment.
