The peat swamp site in Kampar Peninsula, Sumatra, Indonesia, is part of a large ombrotrophic peatland complex. The site is a tall canopy, pristine peat swamp forest, with a peat layer of approximately nine metres. The site has an eddy covariance tower, which has been running since 2017. For a comprehensive site description, see Deshmukh et al. 2020.
The monitoring of the site is led by Dr. Chandra Deshmukh and his team, and funded by April.
