UNRWA in Focus
This project is a student-centred activity designed to provide a platform for the publication of the students’ research on one of the largest UN institutions in the UN family. As part of their assessed work, each student will carry out a detailed programme of research and distil their findings into 3-4 short Briefing Papers.
The UNRWA in Focus Briefing Papers will be short and concise but provide useful overviews of a range of issues. The emphasis will be on comparative aspects of the topic, relating the activities of UNRWA to either other UN institutions, other international NGOs, or other small states, in order to explore the notion of UNRWA as a significant political actor in the Middle East.
