The VSimulators team welcomed BBC Spotlight to the facility, where they filmed a healthy control participant undergoing a movement analysis assessment in the lab. This demonstration was part of a wider segment on ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) research led by Dr Maedeh Mansoubi at the University of Exeter Medical School.
The piece will showcase how digital technologies are being used to better understand ME and how this innovation can support both the NHS and people living with the condition.
As part of the research, a collaborative survey with the ME Association has also highlighted the urgent need for better support—both for the NHS and for people affected by ME. Through our work with digital health tools, we aim to help bridge that gap and bring more personalised, effective care to those who need it most.
