It allows you to quickly create online forms for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Enquiry forms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Event registration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Application forms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quizzes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Polls<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Surveys<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Responses are automatically collected and organised, making it easy to analyse data or export results to Excel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because Forms is cloud-based, staff and students can complete forms on any device &#8211; laptop, tablet, or smartphone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=d10qkZj77k6vMhM02PBKU8AwyZY3vh9Bhafsylew_HlURDVLNktYVzhNQTc5SFY0QlI2NlZPQVZFVyQlQCN0PWcu\">You can see an example of a form used by our team to process T4 training requests here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why use Microsoft Forms?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Key reasons for using Forms on a University web page are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Quick to create:<\/strong> Build a functional form within minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Easy to add to a webpage:<\/strong> A link to your form can be copied from the MS Forms admin area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Secure within the University environment:<\/strong> Forms can be restricted to people within the University if required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>GDPR compliance: <\/strong>Data is stored within Microsoft 365, which complies with University data governance policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How do I access Microsoft Forms?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Log in to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.office.com\">Microsoft 365<\/a> and navigate to the forms app, or you can <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\">access MS Forms directly from this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating a form<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you login you will see a homepage that displays your forms and those shared with you.
