Have a hassle-free Christmas on campus.

The festive season is here, and celebrations are underway across the University.

If you live in self-catered accommodation, have deadlines approaching and packing up to do for the holidays, preparing a Christmas meal might seem a daunting and time-consuming task. That’s why we have the perfect solution: Christmas dinner in catered residences on Tuesday 12th December. No cooking or cleaning required – just turn up with your Meal Package Card or one-off dinner meal ticket and enjoy freshly cooked food alongside your catered friends.

What’s a Meal Package Card?

Available for use during term time until mid-June 2024, a Meal Package Card gives self-catered students access to meals in Holland Hall, Lopes Hall, and Birks Grange. Buy one card priced at £39.60 and you can enjoy 7 dishes any days of the week, whether that’s a Full English for breakfast, curry for dinner (plus a side dish and dessert!) or brunch on the weekends.

Dishes include a vegetarian choice at every service, at least one vegan meal every dinner, as well as Free From options. The ‘Taste Of…’ themed nights are evenings each week dedicated to cuisine from a specific country around the world.

Food is self-served, so you’re in control of what’s on your plate, and with a varied weekly-changing menu, you’ll never be bored.

Visit your residence reception or the University’s Online Store to purchase a card. There’s no limit to the number of cards you can buy, so if you can’t get enough of the food, you can always go back for more with another card.
