Good morning everyone, We hope that you’ve all started to settle in and are enjoying your first few weeks in Exeter. Today’s blog is all about the support that the University offers and the various places that you can go to get your queries and questions answered! There’s always somebody to ask and we are always here to help.
SID
Now that you’ve arrived you have probably had some for of contact with the student information desk, whether this is in person, email or phone. Our SID advisors are your first point of contact for information for non-academic enquiries including accommodation, exams, fees and funding, graduation, international student support, UniCards, letters, transcripts and certificates, and student IT. If you wish to get in contact with the accommodation team you will need to speak to a SID advisor in the first instance who can help with any general queries, if you need to speak to one of the accommodation team specifically they can put you through to us or book you in for an appointment with one of our accommodation co-ordinators.
Residence Reception
Each of our residences will have an assigned reception team. If you have any basic queries or issues with your room they are the first place for you to head to. The reception team can help you with information about maintenance, keys , post and laundry and anything to do with your room or building. If you aren’t sure which reception is yours please look at our webpage.
Students’ Guild Advice
We all need advice at some point and so it’s reassuring to know that the Guild Advice is there to help. They can provide you with an expert advice on academic, finance, welfare or accommodation related questions. Click here to get further details on how to get in touch.
