Waiting list and room move update
For those students who were placed on our pre-arrival waiting list to be notified if a room became available prior to arrivals, please note that list is no longer in use. From our experience, once students students have arrived and settled into their accommodation, have begun making new friends and have got to know their living environment a bit better, they soon do not want to move.

Should you still wish to move rooms and want to be placed on our term time waiting list please log an enquiry in the following way:

  • In your Exehub portal, go to the Ask SID tab and click the Go To SID button.
  • You can then log an enquiry via SIDOnline, using the Accommodation: Changing room or residence FAQ pages.
  • After clicking ‘Log an enquiry’ from these pages you should see a form to complete with a series of drop down menus.
  • Please complete and submit the enquiry, and we will respond to you as soon as possible regarding availability of rooms.

Please be advised that we do not process any move rooms for approximately two weeks and then we will advise you if a room move is suitable in accordance with availability and priority.

This is the last day of our daily blog posts and we shall be returning to posting a weekly blog post from Wednesday 16 September at 10:00am and every Wednesday thereafter until the end of term. We will keep you up to date with important accommodation announcements and events.
