AGE @ Exeter
Ageing and long-term conditions, Genetics, and Epidemiology group

12 September 2024In May 2024 we were excited to launch the new AGE @ Exeter group. We thought long about a name, and AGE seemed to best unite our shared research visions: “Ageing & long-term conditions, Genetics, & Epidemiology.”
This follows the retirement of our mentor Professor David Melzer, who led the “Epidemiology & Public Health” group in Exeter for ~20 years. We shall continue to set high standards in epidemiological research into ageing-related conditions and disease that he set.
Moving forward, we plan many parallel programmes of work into several topic areas; please approach us for potential collaborations and student projects!
