Dr Diksha Garg

Research Fellow

Diksha completed her PhD degree at Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD), India in 2023. Her doctoral research focused on the applications of optical spectroscopies, specifically terahertz spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy, in the food industry.

She is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, working with Prof. Nick Stone, at the University of Exeter, UK. She is contributing her expertise to the Terabotics project—a collaborative initiative involving various academic, hospital and industrial partners. This project aims to provide real-time, automated cancer diagnosis during surgical procedures. Her primary role in this project involves analysis of terahertz spectroscopy and imaging data, as well as Raman spectroscopic data obtained from both healthy and pathological tissue samples.
