26 August 2026Hosted by the Innovation Nursery, a dinner was arranged to discuss and eat warm water prawns, grown on land in the UK. The discussion was enquiring, insightful, and probing.
Held jontly with the University of Exeter as part of London Climate Action Week, June 2026, the table was deliberately mixed: scientists, founders, major caterers, economists, a seaweed entrepreneur, a creative director.
The brief was simple. Not “can we grow seafood on land in this country,ˮ which is settled, but “why isnʼt it normal yet, and what would make it so.ˮ
Spread across 140 acres in Cornwall, Innovation Nursery is a members-only hideaway where innovation teams from businesses around the world spend their time colliding with big ideas and the people making them a reality. https://www.innovationnursery.com/
