
We’re excited to announce our 1st Annual Veg Garden Plant Sale, taking place this Saturday 2nd May, from 10am to 2pm, at the Grounds Veg Garden, Streatham Campus.
This is a fantastic opportunity to stock up on heritage and heirloom vegetable plants, all lovingly grown in‑house by the University Grounds team. Whether you’re an experienced grower or just starting out, there will be plenty to inspire your garden this season.
🌿 What will be available?
You’ll find a wide variety of healthy, home‑grown plants, including:
- Tomatoes
- Courgettes
- Beans and peas
- Salads and kale
- Oca
- Herbs and flowers
Plus, we’ll also have honey from our Campus Bees available to purchase 🐝🍯.

The first 20 customers on the day will receive a FREE tomato plant.

This is more than just a plant sale. Visitors are warmly invited to:
- See where vegetables are grown for University kitchens
- Chat with our knowledgeable and experienced horticulturalists
- Ask questions and pick up practical tips on growing your own veg and herbs
