6 November 2024

This afternoon, 6 November 2024, we were delighted to host Exeter alumni George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, for a masterclass, alongside theatrical producer (and alumnus) Nick Allott, who spoke about his work bringing a hugely impressive list of shows to the stage.

The work of Stiles and Drewe includes the international smash-hit Cameron Mackintosh/Disney production of Mary Poppins, the Olivier Award-winning Honk!, which has been seen by more than six million people in over 8,000 productions, and the recent West End productions of Half A Sixpence and The Wind in the Willows.

While working alongside Cameron Mackintosh for 40 years, Nick Allott has production managed and executive produced shows such as Cats, Song and Dance, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Carousel, Mary Poppins, Hamilton and many others.

Later in the evening, there was An Audience With event where George Stiles, Anthony Drewe and Nick Allott spoke about their work in our new screening room / event space.
