29 November 2024Level 3, Physical Performance, Micro Performance (assessment) sharing, Roborough Studios
Tech designed and composed by the students. With thanks to the tech team and Francis Parker for supporting this student led learning.
In this practice-led module, Every. Body. Is welcome. Through practical experimentation students research the many uses of the word ‘physical’, they play and develop their performing range and physical presence in a supportive studio environment.
Through individual and group prompts, students establish their own physical language, scoring techniques and compositional skills. They investigate the full range of their body’s expressive qualities– rhythm and dynamics of movement, posture, gesture, action and spatial relationships. Working with and towards ensemble dynamics, acting through physical action, movement direction, physical/dance theatre, physical comedy, physical storytelling, composition, facilitation, Total Theatre and physical presence.
Congratulations to all 2024 Physical Performance students for a great term of work and creative expression.
