Last night a group of final year Film students, joined by members of Film staff, celebrated the end of the academic year by watching their Creative Dissertation short film projects at the Exeter Phoenix.

These projects covered a wide range of styles and content, including a comedic fake news progamme, a narrative-driven new musical, a romance gone wrong, and many others.

The films are all submitted for the Paddon Prize, recognising the best piece of creative filmmaking on the undergraduate Film programme.

This year, the prize was awarded to Ellis Quinn and his fantastic short film HELLHOUND, which follows a woman and her belief in being demonically possessed, after being attacked by the titular beast.
You can access and watch his film through this link:

Content Warnings: Blood/Gore, Body Horror, Mental Illness, Illness, Vomit, Disordered Eating, Distressing Scenes and Religious Psychosis.

Massive congratulations to everyone on their creative dissertation projects.
