Wednesday 19 March is UNESCO’s International Day for Digital Learning—a perfect moment to talk about digital skills.

To celebrate we’re inviting University colleagues to take one of our Digital Skills courses on LearnUpon. These practical online courses will help you boost your confidence and efficiency with digital tools. They’ve all been created in-house with experts from across the University.

What’s New?

  • Digital Transformation – Understand the principles of digital transformation and how they apply to organisational and individual growth.

(NB: If the link doesn’t take you directly to the course, please access support here).

Part of the Digital Skills Initiative

These courses are all part of the Digital Skills Initiative (DSI), supporting colleagues in developing essential digital competencies. We’ve also built a Digital Skills Library and Digital Self-Assessment Quiz (both coming soon!) to help you pinpoint skill gaps and access personalised training.

Why It Matters

Digital proficiency isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. No matter what your role, better digital skills mean less stress, more efficiency, and stronger career prospects.

Let’s make digital learning a habit—not just for today, but for the future.
