Workshop: Mobilising Resources for Entrepreneurship Across Contexts

Participants submit their working papers, and we will invite the 20 strongest applications to the event.

Agenda:

  • Morning
    • Collect your badges (9:15 am – 9:30 am): tea, coffee, and refreshments.
    • Keynotes (9:30 am – 11:00 am): Tomasz (45 mins) highlights key research trends in comparative entrepreneurship, and Silvia (45 mins) highlights key research trends in microfoundations in entrepreneurship.
    • Short break (11.00 am – 11.15 am): tea, coffee, and refreshments.
    • Working paper presentations (11:15 am – 12:15 pm): Alex (30 mins) presents his working paper “When Passion Finds Its Direction: Microfoundations of Mobilizing the Entrepreneur’s Inner Resources.” Alice (30 mins) presents her working paper “How Do Early-Stage Entrepreneurs Leverage Generative AI to Achieve High Innovation? A Metacognition Perspective”.
  • Lunch (12.15 am-12.45 pm)
  • Afternoon
    • Roundtable paper development (12.45 pm – 2.15 pm, 90 minutes): Participants split into tables. Participants discuss their papers with their editor, who chairs the table (45 minutes). Then the chair will switch tables and continue the discussion with a new group (45 minutes). Each participant will have a chance to interact in-depth with two editors.
    • Short break (2.15 pm – 2.30 pm): tea, coffee, and refreshments.
    • Panel discussion (2.30 pm – 3.15 pm):
      • Some “hot” topics in entrepreneurship.
      • Participants may submit any questions in advance. We will shortlist some of them for the panel to discuss.
      • We also take audience questions on the day.
