Evolution x Ecology 2026 Conference in Cornwall

Welcome

ExE 2026 is a 3-day conference aimed at evolutionary ecologists from around the world, hosted by the University of Exeter in beautiful Cornwall. It provides a friendly and inclusive platform for all career-stages to showcase cutting-edge research at the interface of evolution and ecology.

What to expect?

Exciting plenary speakers and sessions on a range of topics, including Adaptation to Environmental Change, Predicting Trait Evolution, Host-Pathogen Ecology and Evolution. See the Programme for more details.

There will also be a choice of mid-conference excursions and a conference dinner.

When and where?

ExE 2026 will start on June 29 in the evening with a welcome reception, and it will end on the evening of Thursday July 2, 2026. On Friday July 3 there will be various optional workshops.

ExE 2026 is hosted by the University of Exeter‘s Centre for Ecology and Conservation, and is organised by Erik Postma, Alastair Wilson, Barbara Tschirren, Ben Longdon and Mark Hanson.
