The study is a research-practice partnership between the University of Exeter Medical School, the Children’s Social Care Research and Development Centre (CASCADE), the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster City Council and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Helen Bowring, Partners in Practice Programme Lead, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham and Westminster
Helen is the Partners in Practice Programme Lead for the Children’s Services Commissioning Directorate in the three Local Authorities. Helen plays a key role in the Safeguarding FGC Study, leading on research site identification, recruitment and Local Authority support. Helen is co-leading on the facilitation of learning workshops with Local Authorities in the study, and will take part in ongoing theory development, reflection and the creation of the Implementation Guide.
Aida Dugandzic, FGC Bi-Borough Lead, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
Aida is FGC Bi-Borough Lead for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the City of Westminster. Aida plays a key role in research site identification and recruitment. She will also help facilitate learning workshops and take part in ongoing theory development. In addition, Aida will support the implementation of the Safeguarding FGC alternative pathway in the study sites and provide practice expertise.
