Dear Students,
Welcome to our new-look newsletter! We’re hugely grateful to Jake Mackintosh, who has been working on moving the newsletter into this format which brings with it a particularly useful innovation in the form of the ‘Categories’ bar on the right hand side of the page. Have you ever remembered seeing a job in a previous newsletter but then not been able to locate it? In future, you will only need to click on the ‘jobs’ section and you will be able scan through all the jobs entries from previous newsletters quickly. This should help make searching newsletters easy. Putting the newsletter on a website like this also enables us to link to it from elsewhere (eg ELE pages), making it easier for you to find. You could also bookmark this page so that you will always have ready access to the latest edition.

Thank you to all of you who took part in the negotiations in Legal Foundations this week; there was some brilliant negotiating with good outcomes achieved. Next week you will be looking at written advocacy and preparing your skeleton arguments for the trial. Don’t miss Nick Pointon’s lecture on Tuesday when you will get some inside tips on preparing these documents.
Year 3 students
While working on your Land Law assessment, please don’t forget that you there are many (many!) questions and answers on the Land Law Padlet and various other resources (including an ELE post and a checklist) to help you. All of these are highlighted in the red box on the module ELE page.
Wishing you all the best,
The Law and Business Team
