25 September 2025Since our first workshop in March, the team has been knuckling down, reviewing research and grey literature and shaping it with the vision and focus that came out of those early conversations. We’re now moving from extracting findings into looking more closely at best practice.
In July we ran a really positive workshop discussing how men at risk of suicide can be supporting and building a first run at a vision. Now we have two further workshops coming up and we’d love you to be part of them. The first is online on Tuesday 1st October, 11.30–1.30, for those who can’t make it in person. The second is in person at Strawberry Fields, Lifton, on Tuesday 15th October, 10.00–2.00. These will focus on how community initiatives support men at risk of suicide, and how they can strengthen their collaboration with primary care.
We’re determined that our findings don’t just reflect what’s published, but also capture where things are working well in practice and the ideas for improvement we can feed back. That’s why your voice really matters. If you’re involved in supporting men at risk of suicide, or know someone who is, we warmly encourage you to sign up here.
