MA in Publishing
It is undeniable that the South West has a rich and ever-flowing creative output, often inspired by the region’s distinct human and physical geography.
Much like a body of water, this onrushing stream of arts, culture and literature forges connections across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
Despite its established literary heritage, from Agatha Christie to Jean Rhys to Penguin Books, this nurturing creative space is often an untapped resource.
It is the intention of our cohort to uplift the voice of this region.
Conceptualised and created by MA Publishing 2023-24, Publishing and Literary Networks in the South West presents a collection of essays, interviews and reviews to celebrate these connections. Finding a space to challenge convention is never easy, but our publication hopes to spark vital and continued conversation.
Follow along here for information about events, the publication itself, and how we aim to inspire meaningful change within the publishing industry!
