Speaker: Prof. Peter Ashwin (Director of Research and Impact)

Abstract: One of the most difficult challenges in academic work is to prioritise and manage workload so that the most important things get done in good time. But what is important may seem quite subjective, and multiple demands from different sources compete for your attention at the same time. This is especially difficult for a researcher where you need to set and follow an agenda that pushes the boundaries of what is possible, and more is always possible. In this session we will explore some of these challenges and share some possible strategies for coping with the challenges.
