Printing and copying

The University uses a managed print service where jobs are printed to a generic queue. In order to use the printers you must swipe your university card, select the document or service you require and then enter the appropriate College cost code:

Using the printers

At the printer, swipe your University card and select the options of print or scan, if you wish to photocopy you need to select the home button. Then for each document you need to enter the staff cost code or PGR cost code before hitting print (in the bottom right corner).

Using Print Services

The Print Serivces team are skilled in using the latest digital equipment to provide you with high quality products in a wide variety of paper types and finishes. You can order your products online via the onine service of POD.

Reducing Waste

It is important that we reduce our print charges. The first way to do this is to only print/copy when absolutely necessary. Please ensure you always print/copy double sided.

Reporting a printing problem

All the machines are monitored by Xerox remotely and they will be able to tell if a machine requires toner or consumables, is jammed or has a fault that requires an engineer. Further details and how to report a problem can be found at: Printing | Exeter IT Services | University of Exeter.
