Models of Care for people living with Multiple Long-Term Conditions

Research priority setting

Outputs

1. The growth and diversification of our team will be evidenced by the publication of a position paper

2. We have produced a stakeholder map and continue to engage with key individuals and representatives

3. The review protocol has been registered. We will publish our review findings, as well as the priority setting exercise and our ‘top 10’ list of research priorities. Our dissemination will include production of public-facing materials (infographics).

3. We have produced, and will continue to review, an Equality Impact Assessment. This document supports us in our aim for inclusivity in our approaches and to avoid driving inequality through our methods and our future recommendations for research.

4. We will produce tractable questions for research that will translate into practice.

5. We will take forward at least one ‘top 10’ priority and submit associated grant applications and personal Fellowship applications

Focusing on structural elements of care for MLTC, we will ensure that our findings and recommendations translate into models of care suitable for policy and practice.

Our inclusion of patients, the public, healthcare professionals, and policy makers will ensure that the proposed work will benefit the recipients.

Our research prioritisation work will support the wider academic community in the development of grants to address this important national and international priority.
