Criminal Justice and Acquired Brain Injury Interest Group (CJABIIG)

CJABIIG is a consortium of representative groups with the common aim of raising awareness of, and bringing about change for, people living with ABI in the criminal justice system. The secretariat for the group is provided by the UK Acquired Brain Injury Foundation (UKABIF). Professor Huw Williams is the outgoing group chair.

GLEPHA Neurodisability & Law Enforcement SiG

The GLEPHA Neurodisability and Law Enforcement Special Interest Group are a group of academics and law enforcement professionals who meet quarterly to share ideas and best practice. The group are interested in how best to screen for neurodisability in law enforcement settings, and how to collectively reduce the criminalisation of people with neurodisability.

Transdisciplinary Research for Youth Justice (TRYJustice)

TRYJustice are a relatively new transdisciplinary network of academic researchers who advocate for a better, child-first approach to children who are in contact with the law.
