The National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) Funder Advisory Network (FAN) at Exeter is an interdisciplinary group of academics with experience, expertise and success in securing NIHR funding.
We provide an informal setting for sharing early funder intelligence, a pool of funder-expert peer reviewers, and the leadership to bring together and support research communities applying to NIHR.
We act as a platform to make strategic decisions and provide advice for leveraging awards, as well as providing leadership for interacting externally with the NIHR for advocacy, reputation and strategy, strengthening the relationship between Exeter and NIHR.
