Yavor is a postdoctoral research assistant and was a tutor at the University of Oxford. He studies the large-scale ocean circulation and its important role in climate.
Yavor is working on the TICTOC project. His research will employ both forward and inverse models constrained with observations of transient tracers. Yavor’s goal is to estimate the amount of “added” heat that the ocean has stored and to track down how the ocean circulation redistributes this heat anomaly.
