Perspectives on A Level English – a NATE survey

For all post-16 English teachers

It is now 7 years since new A Level English specifications were introduced and NATE is keen to find out about how teachers feel about these specifications. NATE also continues to be deeply concerned with the decline in A Level English entry and is keen to get the views of post-16 practitioners to explore some of the possible reasons for this. In this survey, we would like to hear your views on the A Level subjects you teach as well as how you have been supported by the awarding body.

This is a qualitative piece of research and will require some time to reflect and respond to the questions asked. We estimate that the questionnaire can be done in 15-20 minutes, but will take longer if you feel able to respond in more detail about your experience of the specifications. Thank you in advance for your time and contributing to this vital piece of research. We hope to report on the findings of this survey in early 2023.

Please complete the survey @ bit.ly/NATE-post-16-survey.
