Visions of the Future Teacher

23 March 2022

A short online twilight event is being run by the university at 4pm on Thursday 31st March. The event considers the current and future role of Artificial Intelligence in Education, as part of our work on developing a bid to research how AI might shape teaching in the future. We are very keen to work with teachers to develop our research project in a way that will offer meaningful, practical outcomes. The event will:

• Offer input on AI technologies in education, how they operate, and how they gather and use data
• Discuss with teachers how these technologies might shape or change teaching in the future, what issues you perceive in relation to educational use of AI, and what you would like us to investigate in our research project.

If you would like to know more before deciding whether to attend, or are interested in the project but not available on the 31st, please contact Annabel Watson, a.m.watson@exeter.ac.uk for further information.
