Peter Hendricks is a Professor in the Department of Health Behaviour at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Peter earned his Bsc Psychology degree at the University of Virginia, before receiving his PhD from the University of South Florida. In 2010, Peter completed a postdoctoral fellowship investigating drug abuse treatments and services at the University of California, before joining UAB in 2010. He is also one of the co-Editors-in-Chief of Psychedelic Medicine, a new peer-reviewed hybrid journal launching in 2023.
Peter’s research involves the development of novel and more effective treatments for substance use disorders and comorbid conditions.
