“I’m very proud of the team of people, not just Technical Services, that successfully moved the Clinical Skills Resource Centre out of its home at Heavitree Hospital so that it can be remodelled over summer. This entailed packing and moving (in one day) 150 to 200 crates worth of equipment and making sure the right kit was in the right destination in order to set up for student practice within 3 days of moving. To add to the stress, it was hot and we were two members of staff down but the team just had their shoulders to the wheel and we kept smiling. I cannot believe what excellent order we’re in now and I just wanted to give a shout out to Kev Hannaford (Tech Services), Sarah Bradley (BMBS Lead Clinical Skills Tutor), Andy Coleman (Estate Services) and Dan and Leah Clarke (casual claims, and no, they’re not related!). The latter may not see this but if you come across them, just know that they’re so hard-working and brilliant!”
