VSimulators’ technical staff have attended a training course in Berlin to acquire new skills and knowledge in medical technology.
James Bassitt, Senior Experimental Officer and Garry Massey, Experimental Officer underwent training at NIRx Medical Technologies, where they learnt how to operate the NIRSport 2 a portable wearable device using Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) for brain imaging. This is a device that will be utilised to support medical research.
James said: “We were pleased to be able to add more tools to our capabilities for VSimulators and invest in our technical team with training and expertise so we have the skills and knowledge to continue to support academics in their groundbreaking research.”
